Worship At Zion
Worship is the central act of the Christian church. When we gather every Sunday at 08:30 and 10:00 (and live-streamed at 11:30), we hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s Supper so that we can go out into the word to proclaim God’s good news in word and deed, serve all people, and strive for justice and peace in all the earth. All are welcome at Zion.
When you come to worship at Zion, you will notice that our worship services are highly participatory. Unlike a movie or concert where you sit back and are entertained, everyone participates in worship. This is to remind us that we are all called to do God’s work in our lives.
Zion is a liturgical church, meaning that each of our worship services follows an ancient way of worshipping God. The four basic parts of our worship are: Gathering, Word, Communion, and Sending.
We gather for worship rooted in God’s Word and Sacraments. Starting May 23, our in-person services are at 08:30 and 10:00. We will continue our 11:30am live-streaming service on YouTube. This will also be available as an archived video after the service has ended.
