Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM)
At Zion, Lutheran Men in Mission is faith-based organization of men living our key purposes: scripture, connection, sharing, invitation, and service to build up the body of Christ.
We meet regularly on the 3rd Monday of every month at Golden Corral at 1604 and Bandera Road around 6:30pm.
We have a short devotion and then talk about our planned activities, including family outings, service projects, fundraisers, and other events.
Some recent examples of activities include:
– Family nature walk at the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, and a miniature golf event at Cool Crest Mini Golf.
– BBQ fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. (You may have seen the Smoker on the concrete pad.)
– Service Weekend at Camp Chrysalis, one of the area’s Southwestern Texas Synod’s Crosstrails Ministries camps.
– One Year to Live Retreat – https://www.lutheranmeninmission.org/events/one-year-to-live/
Our goal is to have fun, enjoy fellowship, and fulfill our vision:
We are a community of men focused on deepening our relationships with God and one another.
